Transport Supervisor (Landhi)

Gatronova, one of the leading group operating accross Pakistan. We at Novatex Plant, is seeking an experienced Supervisor for our Transport Department.

The Transport Supervisor will oversee daily transport operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods and services. This role requires close coordination with transport contractors, drivers, and internal departments to maintain service quality, control costs, and ensure compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and communication skills to manage external partners and resolve operational challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Liaise with transport contractors to ensure adherence to agreed terms, service levels, and safety standards.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and performance terms with transport vendors to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and route planning to reduce operational costs.
• Handle transport-related issues, such as delays, breakdowns, and driver concerns, with prompt resolution.
• Maintain accurate transport records, trip sheets, and contractor performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to align transport schedules with business needs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in logistics operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transport supervision or logistics operations.
• Experience handling transport contractors or third-party logistics providers is essential.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirement.
