Job Description

Sunrise Tours is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-minded Transportation Assistant to support our drivers in providing transportation services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Riverside and Corona areas.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and is looking for a consistent part-time schedule.

IMPORTANT: This position requires working a split shift Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available during both shift times listed below.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Morning Shift: Approximately 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Afternoon Shift: Approximately 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

This is a split-shift position. Applicants must be available to work both the morning and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers during loading and unloading.
• Assist passengers who use wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
• Provide supervision and support during transportation.
• Ensure passenger safety at all times.
• Assist with attendance logs and transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, clients, and families.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Ability to lift and assist with equipment weighing up minimum of 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Professional, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Pay

$18.00 per hour
