Why is this Important?

The Transportation Coordinator ensures individuals have safe, reliable access to work and medical appointments. This role supports client health, independence, and overall program success by coordinating transportation services and ensuring compliance with non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) requirements.

What will I do?

- Coordinate and provide transportation to work sites and medical appointments.

- Schedule medical appointments and prepare medical packets and documentation.

- Communicate medical follow-up information to Case Managers and program staff.

- Oversee transportation routes and manage assigned vehicles.

- Complete trip logs, reports, and NEMT billing using Access2Care and LogistiCare.

- Ensure compliance with safety, reporting, and regulatory standards.

- Provide direct client support and backup administrative assistance as needed.

What is required?

- High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.

- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to organize, problem-solve, and maintain accurate documentation.

- Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, and Mandt certifications.

- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, transferring clients, and driving vans or cars.

- Related experience or college education preferred.
