This position will take an active role within the IT Department and will lead key technology and integration projects for our transportation operations.


We are looking for a Transportation IT Projects Lead who will manage our customer portal development and system integration initiatives. This role requires both technical depth and strong logistics domain experience, bringing together software project management, transportation technologies, and multi-stakeholder coordination.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of development projects — including planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Define and monitor project scope, budget, timeline, and resource plans.
  • Manage risk and change management processes across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management.
  • Oversee API and integration processes with 3rd-party WMS/TMS systems.
  • Facilitate technical coordination between software development teams, system architects, and external vendors.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize system requirements and technical documentation.
  • Support the company’s 4PL transformation roadmap from a technology perspective.
  • Track industry trends and propose new technology-driven improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of software/digital Project Management experience.
  • 4-6 years of IT experience in logistics or supply chain operations — ideally transportation (TMS) software and data flow management with customer/supplier systems.
  • Experience participating in SAP TM, Oracle TM, or other TMS solution implementations at national or international level.
  • Strong project management background in API and web service integrations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and flowcharting tools.
  • Basic understanding of REST API, SOAP, and EDI technologies.
  • SQL knowledge and basic data analysis skills.

Logistics Operations Knowledge:

  • Transportation processes (road, air, sea freight)
  • 3PL/4PL operational models
  • Supply chain management fundamentals
  • Basic understanding of customs and foreign trade processes

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Coordination and leadership in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Detail-oriented and documentation-driven work approach
  • Ability to work under high tempo and pressure
  • Team player mindset with leadership qualities
  • Excellent command of English for global customer interaction
