We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, tracking & rating freight, solving shipment issues, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the transportation process.

As a Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers by providing shipment visibility, tracking freight from pickup through delivery, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing verification. You will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by proactively communicating shipment updates, resolving delays, obtaining Proofs of Delivery, and helping customers manage their transportation needs.

In addition to shipment tracking and customer support responsibilities, you will receive hands-on training in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight pricing and transportation operations. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will learn how to rate and quote LTL shipments, understand carrier pricing structures, evaluate transit times and service levels, and assist customers in selecting transportation solutions that best meet their shipping requirements. This position offers a strong career path for individuals looking to build a long-term future in the transportation and logistics industry.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Previous experience in transportation, logistics, customer service, dispatch, operations, or freight brokerage is preferred but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily in-transit shipment reports for customers.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Verify shipment details, delivery status, and billing information.
• Obtain, research, and distribute Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
• Investigate and resolve delayed, missing, or past-due shipments.
• Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and service issues.
• Maintain accurate transportation records, shipment documentation, and customer communications.
• Learn to rate and quote LTL freight shipments while developing an understanding of carrier pricing, transit times, and service options.
• Assist customers in selecting cost-effective transportation solutions that meet their service expectations.
• Manage customer expectations through clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily transportation operations.

Qualifications

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
