Transportation Manager

We need a Location Manager to oversee day to day operations. Please see below for more information including salary range, benefits and experience requirements. This position is located in Sherburn, Minnesota.

The Location Manager will have (but is not limited to) these responsibilities:

• Prepare and train new drivers to obtain CDL
• Provide continued annual training for all current drivers and maintain a recruiting process to hire new drivers
• Schedule and assign drivers to fulfill all routes and activity trips as needed
• Coordinate school transportation with school administration and maintain a good working relationship with the school staff, administration, parents and students.
• Maintain and update route lists, student rosters and maps annually or as changes are needed.
• Oversee the proper completion of required paperwork, billing, bank deposits and payroll submission
• Maintain school bus and van fleet through properly cleaning and detailing procedures as outlined by company, performing light maintenance, and scheduling routine service and prolonged repairs of all vehicles with company service center
• Ensure that routine and scheduled mechanical maintenance checks of all buses are completed by mechanics and service managers.
• Follow all safety regulations
• Arrive on time to work, meetings and all other obligations as specified
• Keep a positive attitude and steady work ethic
• Be Flexible and willing to learn

Requirements:

• Proven ability to communicate with, manage and lead a team of employees
• Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Etc.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain Class B CDL with required endorsements to drive a school bus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
