Responsibilities: - Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the hospital - Assist patients in and out of vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety - Follow established protocols for patient transport, including the use of appropriate equipment and techniques - Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient transportation needs - Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport vehicles - Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding patient confidentiality and safety Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred - Basic life support (BLS) certification required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Please note that this position requires the ability to lift and move patients with assistance, as well as the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
