Transporter for youth

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and responsible Foster Youth Transporter to assist foster parents by safely transporting children and youth to appointments, visitations, and other approved engagements. This role is essential in supporting the stability, well-being, and emotional safety of children in foster care as well as supporting the foster parents, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

<Duties>

• Safely transport youth to designated locations
• Ensure the safety and confidentiality of passengers
• Assist young individuals with boarding and disembarking vehicles, providing support as needed
• Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, passenger details, and any incidents that occur during transit
• Communicate effectively with team members, caregivers, and destination staff to coordinate timely pickups and drop-offs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper functioning, and safety equipment readiness
• Report and Respond promptly to any emergencies or unexpected situations during transportation, following established procedures

• Strong commitment to patient care and passenger safety with a compassionate approach
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pass a background checks and required screenings
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
• Reliable, insured vehicle

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
