This position is responsible for planning the appropriate service/vessel for container to destinations where Arkas Line cannot provide direct service, managing the operational tracking, and ensuring the process is managed in the most cost-effective way and with the shortest transit time at the relevant transshipment ports.

Job Description

Plan transshipment operations for container destined to locations not directly served

Ensure container is shipped through the most suitable service/vessel in the shortest possible time and at optimal cost

Coordinate with agencies and follow up on operational processes

Monitor customs, declaration, booking and system record processes

Follow vessel schedules, port programs, capacity and loading status

Take necessary actions in case of operational changes and inform relevant parties

Check loading confirmations and update planning tables accordingly

Prepare required reports, analyses and statistics
