Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Travel Consultant located in Newberg, OR. The Travel Consultant will be responsible for planning and selling transportation, accommodations, and other travel services to clients. They will consult with customers to determine their needs and preferences and provide suggestions accordingly. The role also involves booking reservations, managing payments, and providing detailed travel information including itineraries, maps, and directions. The Travel Consultant will ensure all documentation is accurately handled and assist clients with any issues during their travels. They will also keep up-to-date with travel regulations and restrictions and offer emergency assistance to clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Knowledge in Travel Planning, Booking Systems, and Itinerary Preparation a plus
• Attention to Detail and Organizational skills
• Problem-Solving and Crisis Management skills
• Experience with travel software and online reservation systems a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Flexibility to meet clients' schedules and travel needs
• Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of travel regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.05 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
