36 or 48 hours per week, rotating shifts including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) at a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits per year and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. The ED is the only Level I trauma hospital in the area and provides care to a diverse patient population. This position includes assisting with boarder patients and will not support first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy emergency department setting.


• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and respond quickly to changes.


• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans.


• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License (New York License ONLY)


• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience


• Telemetry experience required


• Previous travel ER experience


• Certifications: BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association, NIHSS
