Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Utica, NY
Employer: NurseAmerica
Job Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Options: Day / Evening / Night – 12-Hour Shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 Guaranteed
On-Call: No
Pay Package
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,525
- Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,200
- Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,325
Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a travel assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department. This role is ideal for ED nurses with strong critical-thinking skills and experience caring for patients across all age groups, including pediatrics.
Unit Details
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Beds: 64 total (Triage, Acute, Super Track, Trauma, CDU, Psych)
- Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Floating Required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Charge Nurse Experience: Highly preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Experience with pediatric patients preferred
- Active New York RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required in hand)
- Experience with Epic EMR
Salary
$2,200 - $2,500 per week
