Location: Seattle, WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week
Pay Rate: $63 – $69 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse – Stepdown (RN – Stepdown) to join our healthcare team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to individuals transitioning from intensive care to a lower acuity setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment throughout their recovery.

This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced environments and are confident in monitoring complex patients with strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and intervene as necessary

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Washington
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred

Schedule and Contract Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
• Competitive pay between $63 and $69 per hour
