Position: RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

• Monitor patients' vital signs during and after surgery.

• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

• Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.

• Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.

• Contribute to achieving departmental targets and metrics.

• Stay updated on advancements in cardiovascular nursing practices.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas with BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiovascular operating room settings.

• Demonstrated ability to monitor and respond to patient vital signs.

• Willingness to engage in performance reviews and set goals.

• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and safety protocols.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and medical staff.

• Proven track record of effective communication with patients and families.

• Experience in documenting patient care activities accurately.

• Knowledge of advancements in cardiovascular nursing practices.
