Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights) – Birmingham, AL 35243

Pay Rate: $44/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)

• Pay Rate: $44/hour

• Location Requirement: Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients.

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.

• Assist physicians and midwives during births and obstetric emergencies.

• Administer medications and manage IVs as needed.

• Educate and support mothers and families through the birthing process and postpartum recovery.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license (state of Alabama or compact license)

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
