Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a MedSurg setting.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Achieve performance targets and contribute to team goals.

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

• Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for improvement.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

• Utilize data to assess and improve patient care strategies.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois with MedSurg experience.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care in a MedSurg setting.

• Proven track record of meeting performance targets and goals.

• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Strong documentation skills for patient care and treatment responses.

• Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.

• Experience with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.

• Willingness to assist in training and orientation of new staff.
