Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-MedSurg for a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina — earn up to ($1641 - $1727 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

• Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for improvement.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

• Assist in achieving departmental performance targets.

• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Manage time efficiently to prioritize patient care tasks.

• Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.

• Experience in MedSurg nursing with a minimum of 2 years preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.

• Strong understanding of patient care plans and collaboration with teams.

• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation practices.

• Ability to monitor and document patient vital signs accurately.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.

• Strong time management skills to prioritize patient care tasks.

• Experience in quality improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
