Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Monitor and assess patients' health status and report changes promptly.

• Engage in performance evaluations and set personal improvement goals.

• Educate new parents on infant care and breastfeeding techniques.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

• Utilize data and metrics to track patient care effectiveness and outcomes.

• Stay updated on the latest nursing practices and healthcare regulations.

• Support a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas with maternal-child health experience.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Eagerness to achieve targets and meet performance metrics.

• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in mother-baby care.

• Proficiency in monitoring and assessing patient health status.

• Strong communication skills for educating new parents effectively.
