Position: RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff for optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate records of patient care and surgical procedures.

• Utilize data to assess and enhance surgical outcomes.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

• Support the onboarding and training of new staff members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in California and BLS certification required.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.

• Experience in operating room settings preferred, with knowledge of surgical procedures.

• Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during surgery.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures in healthcare.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical records.

• Proven track record of achieving performance targets and goals.

• Willingness to support and train new staff members effectively.

• Engagement in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and improvements.
