Travel RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
NurseAmerica – Watertown, NY
13-Week Travel Assignment | Day Shift
Pay Package
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,400
- Weekly Stipend (Housing/Meals): $1,200
- Taxable Hourly Rate: $1,200
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel RN – PACU for a 13-week assignment in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for a skilled PACU nurse who is confident in post-anesthesia recovery care and patient monitoring.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 12-hour Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Dates: Jan 12, 2026 – Apr 15, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekends, holidays, and call required
- On-call response time: 60 minutes
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Previous PACU experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS & PALS required
- Minimum 1 year Med-Surg experience preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of PACU, OR, and ASU clinical equipment
- Ability to recognize and respond to lethal dysrhythmias
- May be required to function in a charge nurse role
Salary
$2,000 - $2,400 per week
