Position: RN-Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Pediatrics for a 13-week contract in Sacramento, California — earn up to ($2375 - $2500 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in various settings.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

  • Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.

  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

  • Engage in performance reviews and set personal goals for improvement.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

  • Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

  • Manage time efficiently to meet patient care deadlines and targets.

  • Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license in California with pediatric specialization.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

  • Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in acute care settings.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.

  • Strong communication skills to engage with patients and families effectively.

  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

  • Ability to document patient conditions accurately and timely.

  • Strong time management skills to meet patient care deadlines.

  • Willingness to mentor and train new nursing staff.
