Travel Social Worker

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and practical needs.
• Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and relevant professionals.
• Provide counselling and emotional support to individuals facing personal or social challenges.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to access appropriate services and resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies.
• Facilitate group sessions or workshops aimed at skill development or community integration.
• Liaise with external agencies such as healthcare providers, educational institutions, and social services to coordinate care.
• Monitor progress of clients and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Social Worker or within a similar social care role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse client groups.
• Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and case management purposes.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities when working within multidisciplinary teams or managing complex cases.
• Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards governing social work practice. This position is ideal for motivated professionals committed to delivering high-quality support services while fostering positive change within communities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,600.00 per week
