Traveling Academic Instructor (Littles - Middle School)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, engaging, and dependable Traveling Academic Instructor to provide personalized in-home educational support to homeschool students throughout the Lutz and Land O' Lakes areas.

This position involves working one-on-one and in small groups with students ranging from early elementary through middle school. Lessons are customized to each student's academic goals, learning style, and homeschool journey.

We are looking for educators who can build strong relationships, foster student confidence, and make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home academic instruction to homeschool students
• Teach a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, and study skills
• Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Track student progress and communicate updates with families
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment
• Arrive prepared, organized, and on time for scheduled sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Teaching, tutoring, homeschool, or educational experience required
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Lutz and Land O' Lakes areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Florida teaching certification
• Experience with homeschool education
• Experience with students with learning differences
• Background in differentiated instruction or individualized learning plans

Schedule

• Part-time
• Flexible scheduling
• Afternoon and evening availability preferred
• Opportunity to build a consistent caseload

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
