Position Summary
Vanterra Foundation Solutions is seeking a dynamic and engaging Sales Trainer to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive sales training programs.

This role is responsible for onboarding new hires, supporting newly acquired partners, and conducting remedial training sessions. The Sales Trainer will teach Vanterra Foundation Solutions’ proprietary sales process and ensure effective use of our sales technology platforms.

Training will primarily be delivered through a structured two-week in-classroom rotation, with additional in-market training based on performance needs assessments. Some prerequisite virtual training may be required. The role also includes the creation and continuous improvement of training content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Training Programs

  • Deliver engaging classroom-based training sessions focused on Vanterra Foundation Solutions’ sales methodology, tools, and systems
  • Lead a structured two-week onboarding rotation for new hires and acquisition partners
  • Conduct remedial training for underperforming sales team members

Sales Process & Technology Instruction

  • Teach sales processes including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing techniques
  • Train on CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and other technology platforms used by the sales team

Needs-Based Market Training

  • Assess performance gaps and coordinate in-market training sessions as needed
  • Collaborate with field leadership to tailor training to regional or individual needs

Content Development

  • Design and develop new training materials, presentations, and resources as needed
  • Update and refine existing content to reflect changes in sales strategy, technology, or business priorities
  • Ensure all training materials align with Vanterra’s brand and sales philosophy

Program Evaluation

  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness using performance metrics and feedback
  • Recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes and engagement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales training, sales enablement, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM systems
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt training style to various learning needs and environments
  • Experience in instructional design or content development preferred
  • Comfortable with travel and flexible scheduling

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent presenting in front of groups
  • Occasional lifting of training materials or equipment

Travel Requirements

  • Periodic overnight travel for in-market training and events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
