We are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead onsite installation and execution of AES cleanroom systems and turnkey construction projects. The Traveling Superintendent serves as AES’s onsite leader—responsible for safety, schedule, quality, logistics, and subcontractor coordination throughout the life of each project. Working closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager, this individual ensures all field activities align with AES’s standards of excellence and customer satisfaction. This position will travel 80% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all onsite construction activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of AES cleanroom projects.
- Maintain full compliance with AES, client, and OSHA safety programs; conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and ensure proper documentation of permits and lift plans.
- Coordinate daily with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on scope, schedule, and change management.
- Manage and mentor AES field crews, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure productive workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Oversee and verify receipt, inventory, and installation of AES equipment and materials; confirm alignment with approved submittals.
- Utilize AES Procore for daily reporting, progress photos, safety documentation, and productivity tracking.
- Review subcontractor performance, verify progress for invoicing, and lead project meetings to address technical or logistical challenges.
- Track, document, and communicate all field changes, disruptions, and RFIs to support accurate cost and schedule impact assessments.
- Maintain red-line drawings, as-built documentation, and closeout deliverables in coordination with the in-house project team.
- Partner with AES leadership to identify lessons learned, drive continuous improvement, and uphold AES’s standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience strongly considered.
- 5–10 years of field leadership experience on large-scale construction projects; experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-trade field teams and manage multiple subcontractors on active job sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, site logistics, and installation best practices.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and other project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 80%) to project sites across the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
