Travelling Governess/Tutor

Passport: Must hold a UK, European, or North American passport (essential for travel and residency requirements).

We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and experienced British Tutor/Governess. The ideal candidate will act as the primary academic anchor, establishing a structured homeschooling environment and ensuring the student remains ahead of his British school’s online program.

Key Responsibilities

• Homeschooling & Routine Management: Establish and manage a rigorous 5-day-a-week daily learning schedule. Coordinate with the student’s online school portal to ensure all assignments and assessments are completed to a high standard.
• Academic Support (English & Math): Provide intensive 1-on-1 coaching in English Literature/Language (focusing on writing flair and critical thinking) and Basic Mathematics.
• Broadening Horizons: Develop supplementary lessons in "General Learning" to expand the student’s knowledge beyond the standard school syllabus (e.g., global affairs, logic, or personal interests).
• Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, fostering intellectual independence and a "thinking in English" mindset during this period of transition.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passport: Must hold a UK, European, or North American passport (essential for travel and residency requirements).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Required).
• Curriculum Expertise: Deep familiarity with the British National Curriculum.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Live-in Tutor, Governess, or Teacher, ideally with experience in homeschooling or relocation support.
• Language: Native-level British English speaker.
• Adaptability: Ability to travel full time and maintain a professional, nurturing presence within the family home.
