A growing energy services company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join its finance team. Position Overview
The Treasury Analyst will split responsibilities between treasury and accounting functions. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on treasury activities, while the remaining 50% will support the accounting team through collections, payment follow-up, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and general accounting support.
Key ResponsibilitiesTreasury Functions
- Manage daily banking activities and corporate bank accounts
- Administer and monitor approximately 25 corporate credit card accounts
- Assist with short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Support payment prioritization and supplier payment scheduling
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and reduce banking costs
- Maintain banking relationships and support treasury reporting
Accounting Support
- Assist with customer collections and vendor payment follow-up
- Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting projects
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting, banking, or a related discipline
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Strong academic performance
- Progress toward a CPA or CFA designation
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
