Treasury Analyst II

Senior Treasury Analyst

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Corporate Headquarters)

Reports to: Director of M&A and Financial Strategy

Focus: Strategy, System Implementation, and Financial Modeling

Job Summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst is a high-visibility "Builder" role designed to lead the transformation of Arclin’s treasury function from manual workflows to a sophisticated, automated department. Following a period of aggressive M&A, this individual will serve as the primary architect of a modernized global treasury ecosystem.

This role bridges the gap between technical accounting and strategic finance, requiring the analytical rigor of a Senior Financial Analyst to interpret cash trends and the technical expertise to integrate complex ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA & JD Edwards) into a unified Treasury Management System (TMS). The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with the ambiguity of a transformation project and capable of designing complex financial models from scratch.

Major Responsibilities

1. Treasury Transformation & Systems Architecture

  • TMS Implementation Lead: Act as the functional Project Manager for the implementation of Kyriba or FIS. Map manual processes to automated workflows, ensuring seamless data flow between legacy ERPs and the new TMS.
  • Digital Transformation: Transition the department from manual "pull" reporting to automated "push" reporting, utilizing APIs and SFTP protocols for real-time bank visibility.
  • ERP Integration: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Treasury modules within SAP S/4HANA and JDE, driving the standardization of the chart of accounts for cash reporting across all entities.

2. Strategic Liquidity & Capital Management

  • Advanced Cash Forecasting: Build and lead the global 13-week rolling cash flow forecast. Perform variance analysis (Actual vs. Forecast/Budget) and partner with BU leaders to explain deviations and improve accuracy.
  • Capital Structure Support: Manage the Company’s credit facility, including revolvers and debt tranches. Forecast debt covenants and track Letter of Credit (LC) exposure to ensure compliance during post-acquisition integration.
  • Intercompany Funding: Design and execute intercompany lending strategies to optimize global liquidity and minimize external borrowing costs.

3. Financial Risk & Forensic Analysis

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify exposures to FX and interest rate fluctuations. Model the impact of rate changes on debt service and recommend hedging or mitigation strategies.
  • Bank Relations & Fee ROI: Evaluate banking products and technologies. Conduct competitive RFP processes to consolidate partners, negotiate fee structures, and optimize the global banking footprint following M&A activity.
  • Audit & Controls: Design and document SOX-compliant treasury controls for the new automated environment. Lead the treasury portion of internal/external audits and provide technical memos on complex cash positions.

4. Business Partnering & Executive Decision Support

  • M&A Integration: Lead treasury onboarding for newly acquired entities, including bank account rationalization, signatory updates, and integration into the centralized cash pool.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare monthly Treasury Dashboards for the CFO and Board of Directors, highlighting liquidity ratios, weighted average cost of debt, and counterparty risk.

Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Experience: 5–7 years of Corporate Treasury or FP&A experience with a proven track record of "career climbing." We are looking for an "SFA-mindset"—someone who looks past the transaction to the strategic implication.

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CPA is highly preferred.

  • Technical Mastery:

o TMS/ERP: Previous experience in a TMS implementation (Kyriba, FIS, or similar) is required. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or JD Edwards is essential.

o Advanced Modeling: Advanced Excel Power User (Macro/VBA or Power Query). Must be able to build complex, multi-entity cash models (NPV, IRR, and Three-Statement modeling) from scratch.

  • Soft Skills: A "Builder Mentality." You must be comfortable with the ambiguity of a transformation project and have the communication skills to influence stakeholders across multiple ERP environments.
