As Senior Treasury Accountant, you will support the treasury function for the Construction Products business unit. You will work closely with regional treasury, finance teams, and operational units to ensure accurate recording of treasury transactions, efficient cash management, effective bank relationship management, and compliance with group treasury policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, monitor, and reconcile treasury-related general ledger (GL) entries including intercompany flows, external bank transactions, and internal transfers.
  • Manage bank account reconciliations, ensuring statements are cleared and discrepancies resolved promptly.
  • Support cash-flow forecasting, including working capital requirements, funding needs, and inter-entity cash allocations.
  • Maintain the bank account inventory (account openings/closures, mandates, and signatories) and manage user access rights through systems such as EBAM.
  • Analyses and reconcile bank fees, comparing negotiated pricing versus actual charges to support cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, group guidelines, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., debt monitoring, derivative reporting).
  • Support month-end and year-end treasury activities including GL interface files, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses, including cash-movement analysis, treasury audits, and support for business unit financing arrangements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, or corporate finance (manufacturing or industrial experience is an advantage).
  • Strong accounting background, including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and bank-account management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or banking portals.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player able to work effectively across departments and geographies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Experience / Assets

  • Experience in the banking sector.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Familiarity with cash flow forecasting, bank fee analysis, and working capital management.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency treasury operations, hedging, and derivative instruments.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment.
