Position Overview
As a member of the Housing and Treatment Team, the Treatment and Supportive Services Facilitator supports justice-involved individuals (JIIs) under probation supervision by delivering evidence-based cognitive-behavioral group programs and individualized supportive services. This position plays a vital role in helping participants identify and address criminogenic risk factors, develop pro-social thinking patterns, and sustain engagement in treatment. Facilitators deliver services both in-person and virtually, adapting approaches to meet diverse participant needs. The position requires flexibility to work independently as a sole provider or collaboratively as part of a facilitation team. This work aligns with Restorative Partners’ mission to transform lives through healing services and relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-assessments to measure participant progress and program outcomes.
- Facilitate group-based cognitive-behavioral interventions for adults under Probation supervision, including, but not limited to programs such as Courage to Change, Choices, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), or Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions – Core Adult (CBI-CA).
- Conduct in-person and virtual group sessions, ensuring a safe, engaging, and accessible learning environment.
- Uphold Restorative Partners’ mission, values, and trauma-informed, restorative approaches in all interactions.
- Collaborate with co-facilitators when assigned, or independently manage all aspects of program delivery when operating as the sole provider.
- Guide participants through structured journaling, reflection, and skill-building activities that promote accountability, empathy, and positive decision-making.
- Conduct pre- and post-assessments to measure participant progress and program outcomes.
- Deliver individualized supportive services addressing barriers to participation (e.g., transportation, resource navigation, motivation enhancement, or referrals to housing, employment, and mental health services).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Probation Department requirements and Restorative Partners’ data systems.
- Collaborate with Probation Officers, case managers, RP reentry wraparound services and community providers to ensure coordinated care and participant success.
- Uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and restorative practices in both virtual and in-person facilitation.

Knowledge, Skills, Talents, & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience facilitating groups or providing direct services to justice-involved populations.
- Certification or training in MRT, CBI-CA, Courage to Change, or equivalent cognitive-behavioral model (preferred; training may be provided).
- Proven ability to facilitate programming effectively in both virtual and in-person formats.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and motivational interviewing skills.
- Comfortable using virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and technology for remote service delivery.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

- Must pass a background check and be approved to work within probation and correctional settings.
Essential Requirements
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, as verified by law enforcement administration or other designated agency - Completed upon job offer)
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in restorative justice practices or related field
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Fluency in English (bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable)
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
