Treatment Coordinator

We are a growing, patient-focused orthodontic practice dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and exceptional patient experiences. Our team values professionalism, positivity, and strong communication. We are looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in guiding patients through their orthodontic journey.

Our team travels between locations in both Port Royal and Hilton Head Island.

Monday - Thursday

Position Overview

The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for assisting the orthodontist during new patient consultations, presenting treatment plans, and helping patients understand their financial and insurance options. This role also manages insurance verification, billing, and scheduling to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during new patient consultations
• Clearly and confidently present treatment plans and financial options to patients
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients
• Coordinate patient financing and payment arrangements
• Manage billing and ensure accurate documentation
• Schedule appointments and maintain an efficient schedule flow
• Follow up with pending treatment plans to support case acceptance
• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with patients and families

Qualifications

• Required: Prior dental experience (orthodontic experience preferred)
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Experience:

• Orthodontic: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dental: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
