Treatment Foster Care Recruitment & Licensing Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Treatment Foster Care Recruitment & Licensing Coordinator to be a part of collaborative and dedicated team. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to recruit, screen, and license foster families who are committed to providing safe, nurturing environments for children in need. Your energetic approach will help expand our network of qualified foster homes, ensuring children receive the care and stability they deserve. Your work will directly impact the lives of children by connecting them with loving homes and supporting foster families throughout the licensing process.

Recruitment of Foster Parents:

1. Assist with the promotion and implementation of a marketing plan/logic model.

2. Represent the agency at community events, both actively as a vendor and passively as an attendee, to promote foster parent recruitment.

3. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners to increase agency visibility and secure venues for recruitment events and information sessions in concert with Development via the Director of Treatment Foster Care.

4. Coordinate and host both virtual and in-person foster parent information sessions, with a goal of increasing frequency and geographic reach.

5. Design and implement social media campaigns, including the development of informational video content to enhance outreach and public awareness.

6. Actively recruit respite foster parents to support the broader network and reduce caregiver burnout.

Licensing and Re-Certification

1. Manage the full lifecycle of the licensing and re-certification process for treatment foster homes in accordance with Maryland state regulations and in coordination with the Director of Treatment Foster Care.

2. Conduct home studies, coordinate required training, and ensure timely completion of documentation for licensure and re-licensure.

3. Stay up to date with regulatory changes, including shifts in pre-service training requirements and state-approved curricula.

4. Coordinate with state training systems and agency leadership to align local licensing processes with best practices and new standards.

5.Provide foster parents support on an as-needed basis at the direction of the Director of Treatment Foster Care by assisting with support groups and planning foster family engagement events.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
