Duties

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper techniques to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other equipment safely to access high branches and difficult areas.
• Use rigging skills to safely lower large limbs or trees during removal or pruning projects.
• Conduct land surveys with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map trees and landscape features accurately.
• Assist with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening tasks to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
• Apply horticultural knowledge to diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain safety protocols at all times during tree work, landscaping projects, and equipment operation.

Skills

• Proven experience in tree care, trimming, and landscaping with growing expertise in horticulture practices.
• Skilled in rigging techniques for safe tree removal and limb lowering.
• Proficient in operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other aerial equipment safely.
• Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping landscapes or trees is a plus.
• Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general horticultural principles.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
