Tree Trimmer

Overview

Top Tree Service is seeking an experienced arborist for residential and commercial tree trimming. In this position, you will be responsible for trimming, pruning, and removing trees with precision and care, ensuring the safety of both people and property. Your expertise in tree care combined with your ability to operate specialized equipment will help create vibrant, sustainable environments that thrive.

Duties

• Safely operate bucket trucks, spider lifts, rigging gear, and other equipment to access and work on trees at various heights
• Perform tree pruning and removal to promote healthy growth and prevent hazards
• Use rigging techniques to carefully lower large branches or tree sections to ground level without damage
• Apply knowledge of tree care principles and horticulture practices to ensure proper pruning and health management
• Managing work orders and responsible for job site safety

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in tree care industry
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe removal or pruning of large tree sections
• Strong commitment to safety procedures when working at heights or around heavy equipment
• Valid certifications related to arboriculture or landscaping are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
