South Florida for over 40 years. Founded in 1980, EDJ provides commercial and residential tree trimming, tree

removal, and related services.

Position Summary

EDJ Tree Service LLC is seeking an experienced Tree Trimmer / Climber to join our growing team. This

position involves performing all aspects of tree trimming, pruning, removals, and general tree care services in a

safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate has hands-on climbing experience and is comfortable working at

height in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals using proper arboricultural techniques

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other climbing equipment

• Operate aerial lift equipment (bucket trucks) when required

• Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment

• Assist with rigging and controlled lowering of limbs and sections

• Maintain clean and safe job sites, including debris removal

• Follow all safety procedures and company standards at all times

• Perform other duties as assigned by the crew leader or management

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of tree trimming / climbing experience

• Experience with rope and saddle climbing techniques

• Ability to safely operate chainsaws and tree equipment

• Valid driver’s license — CDL preferred but not required

• Ability to work outdoors in South Florida heat and varying weather conditions

• Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures

• Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• ISA Certification (preferred but not required)

• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks)

• Experience with rigging and controlled removals

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay of $23.00 to $28.00, based on experience
