Trims & Fabrics Sourcing Purchase Manager-Fashion Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, select, and manage global suppliers for fabrics, threads, zippers, buttons, labels, and interlinings. Build long-term relationships and conduct regular performance reviews on cost and quality.
• Procurement & Negotiation: Review purchasing requisitions, issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms to achieve cost-saving targets.
• Inventory & Production Coordination: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and align with production schedules to avoid delays. Coordinate with Logistics for timely delivery of materials.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure all materials meet technical specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 5–10+ years in garment sourcing or procurement.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabrics, trims, accessories, and garment construction.
• Tools: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
