Tropical Smoothie Cafe Crew Member (Morning Shift)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Crew Member to join our Team. In this role, you will serve as the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they walk in. You will handle transactions, assist with food/smoothie, and maintain a clean and welcoming dining atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide a top-tier customer experience.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register with precision, handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Sales: utilize knowledge of the menu to upsell items and promote current specials to enhance the guest experience.
• Operations: Prepare food and smoothies strictly adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a sanitized and organized dining area; assist with bussing tables and general cleaning duties.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems (specifically Aloha POS) is a strong plus.
• Math Skills: Basic math proficiency required for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Availability

• Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
• Shifts: Day, Evening, and Morning shifts available (8-hour shifts).
• Availability: Day and Night shift availability is preferred.
• Location: In person.
