Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items with precision and care
• Operate POS systems for accurate transactions and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food preparation stations
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods while ensuring quality control
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Uphold food handling procedures, ensuring all health regulations are followed diligently

Skills

• Previous barista or food service experience is highly desirable, especially in café or retail environments
• Proficiency with POS systems for efficient cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
• Experience with serving beverages and food items confidently in a retail or café environment
