Good Tree & Stump Removal Inc. is actively seeking a skilled and reliable Truck & Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced company specializing in commercial landscaping, snow removal, and property maintenance, operating a wide range of trucks and heavy equipment.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, trailers, and small/large equipment
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, etc.)
• Troubleshoot diesel and gas engines
• Maintain service records and repair logs
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
• Perform occasional field/service call repairs as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a mechanic (truck/equipment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
