TRUCK AND TRAILER DIESEL MECHANIC~ ROCKY MOUNT, NC

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct diagnostic tests on diesel engines

- Inspect vehicle systems, including suspension, steering, and exhaust

- Maintain records of parts inventory and service vehicles

- Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers

- Execute routine repairs, including preventive maintenance tasks such as oil and tire changes

- Complete work orders for repairs

- Conduct lot checks to identify unreported issues

Job Requirements:

- Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms

- Proficient understanding of maintenance tools and repair requirements

- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or graduation from relevant vocational courses

- Knowledge of DOT regulations

- Experience with the following diagnostic programs:

- Tech Tool

- Davie

- Insite
