Truck & Commercial Vehicle Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter in AJMAN to prepare, paint, and finish a variety of commercial vehicles including semi-trucks, boggie and containers, box trucks, dump trucks, transit buses, and heavy-duty equipment s and cars . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple truck classifications and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Surface Preparation & Repair

• Strip, sand, fill, clean, mask, and prime vehicle surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Repair minor dents, scratches, and body damage using putty, fillers, and sanding techniques
• Mask and protect components (windows, trim, lights, decals) that should not be painted
• Painting & Coating Application
• Mix and match paint colors using computerized mixing systems or manual color matching to manufacturer specifications
• Apply primer coats, base coats, and clear coats using HVLP spray guns, airless sprayers, or conventional spray equipment
• Apply specialty coatings including anti-corrosion treatments, protective undercoating, and custom graphics/decals
• Ensure proper film thickness, coverage uniformity, and gloss consistency across all vehicle types
• Required Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience painting commercial vehicles, with demonstrated experience across multiple truck types (Class 8 semis, medium-duty box trucks, dump trucks, utility trucks, fire/emergency vehicles, or transit buses)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with spray gun operation (HVLP, conventional, airless), surface preparation techniques, and paint mixing/matching systems
• Knowledge: Understanding of industrial coatings, VOC compliance, EPA regulations, and paint manufacturer specifications (PPG, Sikkens, or equivalent training preferred)
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs with assistance), stand for extended periods, work in awkward positions, and wear respirator equipment
• License: Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record (CDL preferred for larger vehicle
