Job Title: Senior Manager - Truck Dispatch – U.S. Market (Long-Haul / OTR)
Location: Karachi (Onsite)
Shift: Night shift (U.S. business hours)
About the Role
We are building a serious U.S. trucking and dispatch operation focused on long-haul lanes and professional carrier management. We are looking for an experienced U.S. truck dispatcher who can independently manage owner-operators and company trucks using DAT / Truckstop and work directly with brokers.
This is not a trainee role. Prior hands-on dispatch experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, train and lead a team of dispatchers
- Dispatch OTR / long-haul semi-trucks across major U.S. lanes
- Book loads using DAT Load Board / Truckstop
- Negotiate rates with U.S. brokers professionally
- Plan routes considering miles, deadhead, HOS, weather
- Daily communication with drivers (English)
- Track loads, manage check calls, resolve delays/issues
- Maintain basic dispatch records and load sheets
- Coordinate with operations / management for performance reporting
Required Experience & Skills
✅ 1.5–3+ years experience as a U.S. truck dispatcher
✅ Hands-on experience with DAT Load Board or Truckstop
✅ Knowledge of:
- OTR & long-haul operations
- Dry Van / Reefer / Flatbed (any one is fine)
- Basic HOS & compliance concepts
✅ Strong English communication (spoken & written)
✅ Comfortable with night shifts
✅ Ability to manage 8–12 trucks independently
Freshers / trainees will not be considered
Preferred
- Experience working directly with owner-operators
- Familiarity with Houston, Midwest, East Coast lanes
- Experience with any TMS (McLeod, Ascend, Axon, etc.)
- Stable job history in dispatch roles
