Truck Dispatcher

Looking for someone long term with Trucking experience to assist in all aspects of dispatching and logistics with Local and OTR Truck drivers. Be able to quickly adapt to continually changing schedules. Booking and entering loads into our system. Posting available trucks. Calling and emailing customers and drivers. Answering phones. Assist in Safety. Building relationships with driver and customers.

MUST be able to be on call every other weekend and 2 nights per week. Hours are M-F 8 to 5 except when on call. Trucking Experience required. At least moderate computer skills and XL. GOOD communication skills, motivated and able to get along well with others a MUST! We are very communication oriented.

Mel Easton & Sons is a small Family-owned Refrigerated Carrier that has been in Business since 1984. We do mostly regional and Midwest but also do longer routes. We run a full-service terminal with multi-bay repair shop with Parking and offices.
