Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a heavy goods vehicle fitted with a hydraulic truck-mounted crane (HIAB) to transport goods to designated locations.
• Safely load and unload materials using the HIAB crane, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure cargo handling.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, post-trip, and crane equipment inspections; perform or report routine maintenance.
• Adhere to all UAE traffic regulations and health and safety protocols during operation.
• Complete and maintain accurate delivery paperwork, including logs, trip reports, and any relevant job tracking.
• Coordinate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and customers for smooth operations and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications & Licenses (UAE-specific):

• Valid UAE Heavy Truck Driving License (Category 4) — mandatory for operating HIAB vehicles.
• HIAB (Hydraulic Crane) Operation Certification or demonstrated experience with truck-mounted hydraulic cranes.
• Ideally, CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) or equivalent — often required in logistics-related roles.

Desired Experience & Skills:

• At least 1–3 years experience operating heavy trucks and HIAB cranes in industrial, construction, logistics, or similar environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic maintenance checks relevant to heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and risk mitigation, especially for lifting operations.
