Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers, and tractor-trailers, will ensure our cargo reaches its destination securely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Routes are from Pueblo to Denver and back. Driver will be home every night.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, and tractor-trailers for diverse delivery needs
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and effectively
• Familiarity with driving refrigerated trailers
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when required
• Strong knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices
• Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and compliance
