Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission to transport vehicles.
• Load and unload vehicles ensuring secure placement for transit.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle condition reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during transit.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving tractor-trailers, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving best practices.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and identify mechanical issues before trips.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle operation.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight manually.

Pay: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
