Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure smooth logistics operations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logbooks.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment preferred.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving.
• Familiarity with operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to freight transport and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.

Pay: $2,904.29 - $3,497.64 per week
