Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with the ability to operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trailers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Minimum age of 23 years old. Must have class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is essential.
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving practices and regulations. .
• Familiarity with route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
