Truck Driver

Overview
Join our team as a Truck Driver and potential warehouse assistant to fill in the gaps where driving isn't needed, and become a vital part of our logistics network! In this role, you will operate box trucks/commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. We value motivated drivers who thrive on movement, precision, and delivering exceptional service every mile of the way.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks
• Load and unload freight
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with transportation laws
• Communicate effectively with our logistics team regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any incidents or delays
• Will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicles, refueling and reporting any issues with the vehicles.
• Core hours for this job are 10am-6pm, but there are consistent needs outside those hours, including late night.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities
• Ability to load & unload freight safely
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Excellent navigation skills for efficient route planning and execution
• Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
• Flexibility to adapt to different vehicle types and delivery environments
