Exclusive Excavating, Inc has been in operation for six years, with over 30 years of excavation experience. We specialize in site preparation, underground utility installation and repair, and concrete footings for Southeast Metro Detroit and surrounding areas. Duties

• Safely operate trucks with manual transmission, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload aggregate and construction equipment between multiple job sites
• Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at multiple locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness for operation
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details and resolve issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on aggregate and construction site work
• Hands-on experience operating dump trucks
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures at various pit locations
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo handling
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy freight and performing vehicle inspections consistently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
